Mission

​

Youth Symposium, a national program of Sigma Gamma Rho, is intended to highlight current events and concerns negatively impacting our youth in our community (drugs, teen violence, teen pregnancy, abuse, etc). Past Grand Basileus Dr. LaRona J. Morris initiated the event with the intent to empower the youth through hands -on leadership and activities. Through the Youth Symposium, we aim to engage with and support the youth of Las Vegas, ensuring our presence is both relevant and impactful.

Objectives

*Improve educational outcomes
*Improve behavior and behavioral outcomes
* Inspire, educate, and equip youth with tools to support personal and academic growth
